Job Title: Purchasing Manager
Summary of Responsibilities
- Search for the higher quality items at the lowest possible purchase
- Assess suppliers based on the desired parameters.
- Find the right suppliers and consider the factor of reputation in determining which suppliers to work with
- Ensure timely orders and ensure delivery schedules are met.
- Prepare ongoing report of all procurements for the management
- Consider all other aspects that may influence purchasing decisions
- Apply tenders where required.
- Ability to manage finance and budgets to minimize spending costs.
- Ability to forecast, plan and correctly assess materials needs and review.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong market awareness, good judgment and analytical ability.
- First Degree/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Purchases in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of computer application
- Female candidates aged 30-40 years are highly encouraged to apply
