Man Swindles Job Seekers of N530, 000 :::: Must Read
A 32-year-old man, Jimoh Suarau, who allegedly swindled a job seeker, Afeez Jimoh, of N80,000, with a promise to help him secure a job with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has been brought before an Osogbo Magistrate’s Court.
Suarau was alleged to have committed the offence along with other offences between August 2010 and July 8, 2011, in Oba-Ile community of Olorunda Local Government area of Osun State.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges sheet.
Suarau was also accused of obtaining N200, 000 from one Fausat Jimoh on the pretext that he was going to help her clear an imported vehicle from the Nigerian Ports Authority.
He was also accused of obtaining N450, 000 from the job seeker and one Rufus Omotoso with a promise to help them double the money.
