International Breweries Plc, a Brewery based in Ilesa, Osun State, in the south western part of the country is offering challenging and exciting job opportunities for results oriented professionals that are interested in being part of our growth programme, in the following vacant position:
Job Title: Machine Specialist (Packaging)
Summary
Maintain, repair and optimize machines and associated devices to ensure machine availability and product quality at minimum cost whilst maintaining standards
Duties and Responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Machine Specialist will:
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
- Provide specialist technical support and enhance machine system and process capabilities
- Maintain, repair and optimize plant and associated devices
- Optimise production performance.
The occupant of this position should possess:
- Trade test certificate and/or OND in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial engineering)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field at a leadership position, preferably in a brewery or FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) environment.
- Systemic problem-solver
- Great attention to detail
- Good understanding of modern maintenance practices (e.g. lazer alignments, vibration analysis etc)
