A National Newspaper Company is Recruiting Librarian
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Librarian in a frontline national newspaper.
Duties
The Librarian shall be responsible to the Editor for the day-to-day
administration of the Library Unit. He/She will be fully responsible
for the acquisition and arrangement of books, periodicals and
photographs in the Library. The Librarian shall also see to the
thorough supervision of the Library.
Qualification and Experience
Candidate must possess a University degree in Library Science from
recognized universities with a minimum of ten (10) years post
qualification experience, five (5) of which must have been spent in a
media house library; preferably at a managerial level. Candidates must
have good leadership qualities and communication skills.
