A Co-educational full Boarding International School located on extensive and beautiful ground in Epe has vacancies in the following positions:
1. Head, Procurement and Stores Management
Reporting to the School Administrator
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- First degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably in the Social Sciences. Relevant Post-graduate/Professional qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience of which at least two (2) must have been at a supervisory level.
- Knowledge and understanding of procurement practises, principles and techniques.
- Good networking, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills and excellent knowledge of Ms Office productivity tools.
- High integrity and ethical standards.
2. Head, Facilities Management
Reporting to the School Administrator
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- First degree or its equivalent in Engineering or any related discipline.
- At least six(6) years relevant experience.
- Good understanding of the operaton of an educaational institution.
- Very good knowledge of leading practices in predictive/preventive and corrective maintenance strategies especially as it relates to real estate facilities management and maintenance services.
- Good knowledge of fleet management.
- Knowledge of utilities management, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Good analytical, problem solving and crisis management skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, good organization and coordination skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- High integrity and ethical standards.
3. Head, Boys Boarding House
Reporting to the Director of Boarding
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- First degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably in the Social Sciences/Education.
- Minimum of six(6) years relevant experience of which at least two(2) must have been at a supervisory level.
- Ability to plan and implement programs that can bring academic and behavioral progress to the students.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, good organization and coordination skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical, problem solving and crisis management skills.
4. House Parents
Reporting to the Head, Boarding House
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- First degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably in the Social Sciences/Education.
- Minimum of two(2) years relevant experience.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, good organization and coordination skills, and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good analytical, problem solving and crisis management skills.
5. Maintenance Supervisor
Report to the Facilities Engineer
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent in a related field(e.g. Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering) or Building Science/Technology from a reputable tertiary institution.
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in the same capacity in facilities maintenance operations.
- Very good knowledge of leading practices in predictive/preventive and corrective maintenance strategies especially as it relates to real estate facilities management and maintenance services.
- In-depth knowledge of utility management and maintenance systems.
- ln-depth knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Assistant librarian
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in library studies/science.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in the same capacity: or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.
- Fundamental knowledge of library classificaton systems (Dewey, Decimal, DDC, LC) and library circulation processes.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office productivity tools and library computer software systems.
- Good oral and written communication skills, good Interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for the provision of quality service to the school.
- Willingness and ability to accommodate flexible work schedules that may change from time to time and that may include evenings and weekends.
