Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into BOWEN UNIVERSITY degree programmes for the 2012/2013 academic session.The Screening exercise is slated for both prospective undergraduates and direct entry candidates.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES
GENERAL:
(i) UTME
(a) All applicants are required to sit for the 2012 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
(b) Applicants are to obtain Bowen University Form by hand or post or complete on-line by visiting Bowen University website at http//:www.bowenuniversity-edu.org
(c) All applicants are required to have credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or approved equivalent in at least 5 subjects which must include English Language and four other subjects as may be specified by each Faculty.
(d) The five Credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings.
(e) For Medicine and Surgery(MBBS) programmes, the five Credits must be obtained at one sitting.
(f) Candidates awaiting results may apply.
(g) All applicants will be required to go through Bowen University’s Screening Exercise.
(h) Interested candidates who have applied to JAMB for admission and
wish to change their first choice to Bowen University are required to:
1. apply for change of institution through JAMB
2. obtain the BOWEN UNIVERSITY Application Form or complete it Online
3. participate in the screening exercise.
Application Forms may be obtained by hand or by post from any of the Application Forms Sales Centers upon the presentation of a Non-refundable application fee of N6, 500.00 in bank draft payable to BOWEN UNIVERSITY, IWO. Bank draft must be obtained from Any of the following banks:
