Golden Transport Company Limited though formally incorporated as a company in 2008, has been in operations right from the inception of Flour Mills Nigeria Plc. It has established effective nationwide haulage and distribution networks that enables its sister company’s products reach their customers on time and in excellent condition.
Golden Transport Company Limited has a dynamic history, its operations started as a Fleet Operations Department of FMN. By 1992, the Department was strengthened with the purchase of 46 BMC Fatih trucks. By 1998, the department was equipped with 203 Mercedes Benz V-6 trucks.
By 2005, arrangement to convert the Fleet Operations Division to a fully fledged company with its own structure was concluded and in April 1st 2008, the company started as a corporate separate personality – Golden Transport Company Limited.

Fleet Operations Supervisor
Responsibilities
- To monitor and supervise trailer drivers, keep daily records of trucks, monitor and document driver/trucks in and out activity and ensure time efficiency of driver and truck.
Qualifications:
- WASC or technical school certificate/OND or equivalent.
- Physically fit, result oriented and with good leadership skills.
- 5years minimum in fleet/haulage industry.Hands on knowledge of trucks and driving, experience will be added advantage.
Workshop Supervisor
- To supervise sectional teams in the fleet workshop for the maintenance and repairs of all heavy trucks and trailers.
Qualifications:
- OND/FTC/C&G final mechanical or automobile engineering. WASC credits.
- Physically fit, target oriented and with good trouble shooting skills.
- 5years minimum, hands on vehicle workshop experience heavy duty trucks, turbo aspirated engines, forklifts and other heavy duty equipments.
