Quality Assurance Inspectors are needed at Unilever in Lagos

Job Description
- Ensures raw materials, packaging materials, In process & finished products are within specification & strictly adhered to.
- Online in process checks of manufacturing process and products.
- Ensure necessary quality action (e.g) hold stickers are affix on out of specification situations.
- Ensure adherence to quality tools (HACCP, Traceability e.t.c) and PPE systems are in place and strictly adhered to.
- Track daily, weekly & monthly weight control via in process checks
- Monitoring of powder dust level and Enzyme activity in dust within factory.
- Ensure effective monitoring of daily production activities across all shifts via in process checks.
- Do finished products line inspection/recording for assigned lines.
- Carry out daily QDI assessments & input data on the shop floor.
- Report any non conformance on the shop floor.
- Any other job assigned by Quality Mgr.

Purpose of the Role
- To monitor all Quality activities from receipt of materials analysis to in process and on line monitoring analysis to finished products analysis, (NSD – dust, enzyme in dust, enzyme in product analysis) finished products audit etc.

- Minimum of a OND in Applied Sciences (Science Lab Tech/Food Tech/Chemical Engr.
- ICT Skills
- Basic knowledge of Quality terminologies
- Good verbal & written communication skills in English
