General Manager(Port Harcourt)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the activities of the Three (3) Departmental Managers.
- Plan sales direction along with the marketing team.
- Plan operation strategy along with operation team.
- Review finance and accounting report from the Finance and Administrative Department.
- Oversee administrative arm of the company.
- Prepare income and expenditure budget and defend same.
- Render monthly, quarterly and annual performance report to the Board.
- Defend the company policies and procedure and ensure adherence to it’s corporate goals
- Coordinate the nationwide activities of other branches that will be established subsequently in Abuja and Lagos.
Reporting Lines:
The General Manager will report to the Chairman and /or the Executive Director as required. The three departmental Managers will in turn report to the General Manager.
Location:
Port Harcourt with supervisory responsibilities over Abuja and Lagos outlets in subsequent years.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum of second class lower or equivalent degree from a recognised university or polytechnic.
At least 10 years working experience. (Experience in a Sales and Marketing Company (FMCG) is an advantage) such experience must be at managerial level with evidence of responsibilities undertaken.
Personality traits will include – Diligence, Self motivated (i.e. being able to work without supervision), Resilience and People Management skills.
